ON the cover of this month's More Dash Than Cash supplement, in association with H&M, is Tenessee-born model Leona 'Binx' Walton. Already the face of Celine, Walton walked in a total of 27 shows for spring/summer 2014 - including Chanel, Prada and Marc Jacobs - and made a particular impact in Milan, walking in nine shows.
First discovered aged nine whilst sitting by a swimming pool with her sister, Walton was more interested in football than modelling in her early years and was often mistaken for a boy. She was given her nickname Binx by her two brothers because they thought she looked like the Star Wars amphibian Jar Jar Binks.
In 2012, aged 17, she was signed to Next Model Management and moved to New York, where she cut her hair short and made her debut on the Marc Jacobs autumn/winter 2013 show.
