At last, another Uriage moisturizer review. In my Uriage Water Jelly review (https://pursuitofiz.blogspot.com/2019/07/uriage-water-jellygelee-deau.html), I hinted that another Uriage range was my favorite, the Hyseac range for oily and blemish prone skin. In that line, I have found a hidden gem, which turned out to be my best loved, treasured moisturizer, the Hyseac R.
A dermatologist of my full trust reccomended the Hyseac R moisturizer while I was treating a horrible acne outburst almost five years ago. During that time I was on a harsh acne treatment, so my skin was in total need of reparation and hydration,
The R in Hyseac R stands for 'restructuring' skincare. Uriage claims that this moisturizer is a 'perfect ally for skin damaged by drying treatments'. Also, it is infused with Cerasterol-2F, and TRL2-Regul, which help to rebuild and reinforce skin barrier, while the Uriage thermal water provides calm and comfort. Skin should feel hydrated, supple, protected and have a non-oily finish.

The moisturizer for me has really nailed the formula, it is light weight, but offers a creamy slip while not being too occlusive. The best way to describe it would be sort of airy, whipped cream formula that is not too heavy for oily, surface dehydrated skin.
The claim that it calms and rebuild the skin is true. Breakouts and dryness after treating them is almost a daily thing for me, and the Hyseac R moisturuzer does help me speed the healing process and getting rid of dry patches.
It helped in me in my worst days of damaged skin and it helps me nowadays, in a better skin state. It never caused me any skin irritation. It is a perfect base for foundation. Truly, a fuss free formula, and I find it that no matter what new moisturizer I try, this one always has my back.
